María Magdalena Campos-Pons has been nominated for the ARTnews Awards in the Lifetime Achievement category, which honors influential living artists with a retrospective or survey exhibition at a major U.S. museum.
The nomination recognizes Campos-Pons for her retrospective, María Magdalena Campos-Pons: Behold, on view at the Brooklyn Museum in New York, Frist Art Museum in Nashville, and the Nasher Museum of Art at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina. The exhibition will travel to the J. Paul Getty Museum at the Getty Center early next year.
